Hitched for Life.

I'm married.

Not because of a feeling.

But because of a commitment. A covenant.

Of course that lovey dovey feeling is there. .. Most of the time. But that feeling is fleeting because it's based on the emotion of the moment.

But a covenant is unwavering.

There are no 're-do's' or 'backing out'.

As my daddy said in his toast to Jon & I at our wedding "..there is no return on this deal.."

And that 'kinda' makes me happy.
